The photos above bring me so much joy and I hope they bring a smile to your faces too. The top left is from a client trying to snap a photo of the staged mirror in her soon-to-be first home purchase. She caught me in the frame taking notes of the 10,000 things to accomplish and get answered during an escrow. Later, when I  reviewed the photos to jog my memory about items to include in our offer and the costs of furniture to purchase, I saw that I was in the photo. I liked it and saved it to my collection.The top right photo is how us “Type A Book Club” ladies celebrate a 6-day escrow closing…(well actually any length escrow closing) with bubbles!!!!

The middle row is me with Crosby, staying up waaaaayyyyy past bedtime at the Earl Warren Fairgrounds fair where I love going on all the scariest rides. ‘Turbo’ and ‘Swings’ are my favorite and the ‘Gravitron’ is a hard no but the rest I could ride all night. The middle right showcases my love of keys and all of the characteristics that can be expressed with a simple key ring and style. This particular key was waiting for me in the lockbox of 318 Loma Vista (see below) and the significance made me smile.

The bottom left is me after getting asked to dance by my 11-year-old son at the Washington Elementary School ‘Spring Fling’. At first, he didn’t want to go, but once there, he had the time of his life and shut down the party. Then the bottom right is me and my hubby, Nate at a lovely Easter dinner celebration surrounded by family and friends that are family. It has been a great past few weeks and we look forward to the Summer that is right around the corner.

In real estate news, the inventory is truly picking up. I have clients who have waited for a property to become available in Goleta North for several years. Well, last week 7 properties hit the market in their price point and that geographic location and guess what? They were out of town! Oh well…one of these days they will find a place to call home here again!

I recently represented a buyer on an all-cash, 6-day close escrow and when I called the home stager to request that their furniture be removed, they were thrilled since they said they needed their inventory right now. Apparently, there is a 2-3 month wait to get their services since the inventory has increased so much lately. Bring it on Spring time inventory…show me what you got! I have a long list of buyers that I look forward to helping find their home sweet home.
