I recently purchased my first home. I knew I had selected a good broker when Elizabeth Wagner was recommended to me by three different people none of whom knew each other. Throughout the process, Elizabeth was very attentive. She listened to my interests and only showed me property that I was actually interested in pursuing. I felt that Elizabeth was on my side and not trying to pressure me into a purchase merely for the commission. She showed a tremendous knowledge of the local market. She helped me navigate the many pitfalls of buying a home from finding the house that best fit my style and budget, through the closing process to securing the loan.

Perhaps the most revealing of Elizabeth’s commitment came AFTER we closed. I had some plumbing issues right away that did not appear on the home inspection. Elizabeth worked daily with both the seller and the plumber who performed the inspection to make sure everything was settled to my satisfaction. All this effort despite the fact that we had already closed was above and beyond my expectations. I’m confident very few agents can claim this level of commitment to their clients.

We’ve been in our new home now for a couple of months and are still barely finding time to catch our breath and thank you for all you did to help get us here.  What a whirlwind!  With things moving as quickly as they did, we so appreciated your calm, no-nonsense optimism.  I could hardly believe how smoothly it went and how easy it even seemed.

I know we aren’t your average clients–two unrelated couples buying a duplex together isn’t exactly the standard–but it felt like you’d done this a million times.  You are so knowledgeable, comfortable, resourceful, organized and available that I felt really confident that we were in good hands throughout the process.  You sure helped me (Robin) to relax (which is saying something!) and even made the process fun!

We particularly appreciated the little touches–the research on the pine tree, your presence at the final signing marathon, the anecdotes about the Buddah, etc.  You really demystified the process, kept us on track, and did more than we expected to make the whole thing a piece of cake.  We couldn’t have asked for a better guide and helper as we made probably the second-biggest decision of our lives (marriage was a pretty big one too!)  Our sincerest thanks for a job well done, and know that you haven’t seen the last of us!

We bought our first home with Elizabeth in 2013 and she was the perfect guide for us as we were new to real estate. Her personal care and guidance felt like she was investing right alongside us. When our family grew to include 2 sons and a dog by the Spring of 2019 we were feeling ready for a bigger place. She walked beside us as we waffled on whether to sell or renovate and even patiently watched us enter into contract only to back out the very next day because we just had a gut feeling it wasn’t the right place. We ended up finding the perfect spot for our family just a few months later and I’m confident that Elizabeth’s expertise, knowledge and professionalism is one of the reasons we were able to secure the house against 6 other offers. From the moment that we first saw the house until the moment the keys were in our hands we felt supported by Elizabeth who was always happy to answer any questions or help us do additional research to find the answer. Every professional she suggested we work with throughout the process always ended up being equally easy to conduct business with.

The decision was hard to make but we ultimately decided to sell our first home and Elizabeth’s knowledge and guidance ensured our house was ready for market and incredibly marketable. We thought buying a home was stressful, turns out selling one is a little bit more stressful, but again, Elizabeth’s undivided attention and partnership took much of the stress away. It’s always sad when a deal is complete with Elizabeth because you don’t get to be in touch daily anymore. Choosing Elizabeth as your realtor, whether you’re buying or selling, will be one of the best decisions you can make this year (or decade!).

When we decided we wanted to buy our first home in Santa Barbara we knew it
would be the biggest purchase of our life and we really wanted someone to
walk us through the process that was honest, trustworthy, detailed, and
would always have our best interest in mind – not just their commission.

It really meant a lot to us that you were not only with us every step
of the way, but also explained what each step meant so that we weren’t left
in the dark about why things were being done as they were and what our

focus on our jobs, moving, and the excitement of actually owning a home in
