6 Days Left Of “Homeschooling!” = #75 Days Of Summer 2020

As you might be able to tell from my subject line, I am pretty excited…there are 5 days left of the Santa Barbara Unified School District Elementary School year. That means 5 more days of “homeschooling” for me and my husband and many other hard working parents throughout our community and country. Let’s just say that I am a much better Realtor than homeschool teacher and I am forever indebted to teachers everywhere for guiding our children and teaching them…patiently…thank you Ms. Dalton and Ms. Angelopolous for finishing out the year with our children virtually!

From the Village Properties newsletter…
Summer is fast approaching, and we are looking forward to the chance to unwind and de-stress. But despite the desire to rest and relax, many of us should consider turning to the summer looking to procure a great investment as real estate picks up. In celebratory news, Village Properties turns 24 this month! We would also like to showcase how both agent and showing protocols have transformed to keep us safe while we practice social distancing.

Back to Elizabeth…
I am proud to report that this has been one of my busiest years to date. Just since the quarantine was announced, practicing safety protocols and following all guidelines, I have been able to successfully represent 5 closed escrows with 1 other currently listed for sale, 3 listings coming soon and one listing rented out for 6 months that will be for sale again in the Fall.

The Sellers and Buyers that are active in this market are serious about selling and buying. The “looky-loo’s” have taken a break. There are numerous state mandated forms to sign in order to view properties in person. Open houses are not allowed, nor are broker caravans or the distribution of flyers. Safety protocols are in full effect and taken very seriously.

Sales are happening with multiple offers on a daily basis. If you have thought about jumping into the market or making a change to your current property, I strongly encourage you to reach out to me with any questions or thoughts about what your next property could look like.

We are all spending a lot of time in our houses and I have received multiple calls over the past few weeks from clients that are ready to make a move…

Sincerely,

Elizabeth
